We are the first orthopaedic Center in Ludhiana providing comphrensive Orthopedic care to people of Ludhiana and nearby areas for last 30 yrs . The hospital is headed by the senior most Orthopedic surgeon of city Or N D Avasthi who is also a alumni of Christian medical college and hospital Ludhiana with more than 40 years of orthopaedic experience. The hospital was one of the first to introduce surgical fixation of fracture in the region and also the first hospital to have C ARM in the operation theatre for closed fixation of most of the fractures . Dr N D Avasthi also deals in all complex paediatric orthopaedic problems. The hospital has a modern OT with Allengers latest C - ARM. The machine is registered with AM ( Atomic Energy regulatory board ). We also have a GE anaesthetic machine with inbuilt ventilator to ensure complete safety of the patient during surgery.
Hospital also has a good sterlization machine and a in house fumigator for the hygiene of OT. Joint Replacement of both hip and knee are done on regular basis and complete care is taken for infection control Hospital has complete central gas supply for oxygen in all the areas of the hospital. The hospital also has a 24 hr power back up . The hospital has a in house pharmacy. The hospital also has Fugi digital X-ray machine. Hospital has a full functional physiotherapy deptt headed by a qualified physiotherapist. The hospital is first of its kind to introduce cloud telephony to attend emergency calls.
Dr Mukul Avasthi MS (Ortho) MCh (USA) has been associated with hospitals for past 10 yrs after working in Christian medical college and Ludhiana . His special interest are Arthoscopy and Arthoplasty. Dr Rakesh Sharma who did his MD medicine from PGI Chandigarh has a regular OPD in the hospital and also manages the medical complications of the admitted patients . All the rooms both private and general are air conditioned. The hospital also has a fully equipped minor OT for the minor surgeries. Hospital has a plaster room for closed reduction and plaster application. Hospital also has a Central software management developed indigenously for billing and patient record management .
